Alex Green is a corporate lawyer based in London focusing mainly on cross border capital markets and M&A transactions for multinational corporate clients, private equity funds and investment banks. Alex has particular experience in cross border ECM transactions throughout EMEA (including transactions with a placement into the US), other forms of equity investment, private M&A and joint ventures and related corporate governance arrangements. Alex has experience across a number of industry sectors including financial institutions, technology, life sciences, real estate and natural resources.

Alex has worked in our London and Hong Kong offices and recently returned from a secondment to Deutsche Bank's EMEA capital markets, M&A and corporate broking team.

  • Advised Credit Suisse, Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley in relation to the US$500 million London IPO of Landscape Acquisition Holdings Limited
  • Advised Delta Air Lines, Inc. on its amended transatlantic joint venture with Virgin Atlantic and Air France KLM and shareholder arrangements with Virgin Group and Air France KLM in relation to the acquisition of a stake in Virgin Atlantic by Air France KLM
  • Advised Picton Property Income Limited in relation to its conversion from a real estate investment fund to a REIT and the transfer of its listing category on the London Stock Exchange
  • Advised Citigroup and a syndicate of banks on a £215m equity fundraising by CityFibre Infrastructure Holdings PLC, a leading fibre optic network provider
  • Advised a private equity fund and Hasselbald Limited in relation to the disposal of the Pro Centre business
  • Advised Gama Aviation Plc in relation to the acquisition of certain aviation interests based around HK airport and held by Hutchison Whampoa
  • Advised Numis Securities and Berenberg in relation to the £200m London IPO of Yellow Cake PLC
  • Advised a specialist European private equity fund in relation to a private placement of preference shares by Mediterranean Bank PLC
  • Advised Petropavlovsk PLC on its $235 million rights issue and related debt restructuring
  • Advised a consortium of investors including Employees Provident Fund of Malaysia, Och Ziff and Moor Park Capital in relation to the £700 million acquisition of a portfolio of private hospitals from Cinven and Spire Healthcare
  • Advised Volution Group on the takeover of Energy Technique PLC
  • Advised a Canadian mining company in relation to a public equity investment by Plinian Capital
