Biography
Matt Hacking is a mining, energy and infrastructure lawyer based in the firm's London office.
He focuses on advising clients in the development and financing of large-scale projects across a range of industry sectors in a number of jurisdictions with a particular focus on African jurisdictions.
Prior to joining the London office, Matt worked in the Cape Town office as a corporate mergers and acquisitions lawyer primarily representing a number of developers and an international utility company in the acquisition and disposal of renewable energy (onshore wind and solar PV) projects.
He is an admitted Attorney of the High Court of South Africa and holds B.COM (PPE) and LLB degrees from the University of Cape Town.
