Andrea Ngo

Biography

Andrea Ngo is an intellectual property lawyer based in Toronto. She focuses on helping clients create robust IP strategies and secure patent protection for their innovations in Canada, the United States and internationally. 

Andrea has drafted and prosecuted patent applications across a diverse range of technologies, with a focus on emerging technologies, such as artificial intelligence, advanced robotics, blockchain and next-generation telecommunications, networking hardware and medical devices. 

She also reviews and drafts IP-related agreements, including IP ownership and assignment agreements, confidentiality agreements, non-disclosure agreements and service agreements.

While in law school, Andrea completed an externship with the University of Toronto’s Entrepreneurship Hatchery, where she worked closely with early-stage startups to develop IP and business strategies and ensure compliance with Health Canada and Food and Drug Administration regulations.

Prior to joining the firm, Andrea worked at a leading national IP boutique firm.
