Biography
Louis-Jérôme Laisney is a project finance lawyer based in Paris.
He has over 15 years' experience in a wide range of financing transactions, including project finance, acquisition finance, corporate finance, export finance and debt restructuring in France and internationally, particularly in Africa.
Louis-Jérôme has developed significant expertise in OHADA law.
He acts on the account of sponsors and borrowers as well as lenders, including French and foreign commercial banks, multilateral development banks and investment funds regarding transport and telecommunications infrastructure financing, energy infrastructure financing and mining financing.
He frequently assists groups of lenders in acquisition finance and corporate finance transactions.
Louis-Jérôme also regularly advises French and foreign banks on export finance transactions for foreign borrowers, particularly in Africa, Southeast Asia and South America.
Finally, he regularly acts on behalf of lenders in debt restructuring transactions involving French and foreign borrowers.
