Biography

Prior to joining Norton Rose Fulbright, Ann Porter was an associate at a global law firm and served as in-house counsel at J.P. Morgan Chase & Co.

Ann's practice focuses on income, estate, and gift tax planning for high-net-worth individuals and on related tax controversies. She has experience advising individuals and multi-generational family offices on trust administration, charitable giving, and sophisticated wealth transfer techniques, with an emphasis on structuring tax-efficient transfers of assets such as artwork, real estate, investment funds, and closely-held family businesses.  Her practice also includes representation of clients in federal tax audits and tax litigation.
