Pensions Regulator blogs on industry innovation

The Regulator’s most recent blog post reports on its recent innovation event where more than 50 industry leaders gathered to explore how to build a more creative, inclusive and user-centred future for workplace pensions. 

The blog highlights the Regulator’s seven draft design principles focusing on co-operation to develop industry-wide guidance on helping savers, employers, trustees and pension providers in allowing new approaches to be trialled.

The Regulator feels that regulation and innovation must work hand in hand if the industry is to meet future challenges. It also acknowledged the need to tackle complex issues – from inclusion to sustainability – by creating conditions that support creativity and risk-taking.
