Crisis response or road to recovery?
Choosing which project to prioritise can be a challenge. In the final video of this series Stephanie Hamon explains the benefits of creating a wishlist from which you can prioritise; and the importance of looking at the wider company strategy, so the legal team are viewed as a strategic business partner.
Managing a legal function can be challenging, even more so when the function is disorganised.
If someone had said 20 years ago that you could carry a device with you to work whilst commuting or to watch your favourite shows, we might have laughed. But with such a fast-moving technology industry, we look at the work that we do differently. Implementing change can be challenging, especially when some people are resistant to new ways of working.
The role of the GC, and by extension in-house legal teams, is changing.
