Norton Rose Fulbright advises Total on its acquisition of Blue Point London from Bolloré

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has advised Total on its acquisition of Blue Point London Ltd, London’s largest electric vehicle charge points network from the Bolloré Group.

With this transaction, Total takes over the management and operation of the Source London network – the largest electric vehicle charging citywide network – with over 1,600 recharging points installed in the streets of London.

In line with the City of London’s ambition to be a zero-carbon city by 2050, Source London - which currently represents more than half of the charge points in operation in the capital city - is aiming to increase tenfold the number of charge points within five years. Total is committed to supplying this network with electricity 100% guaranteed from renewable sources, which will be supplied by its subsidiary Total Gas & Power Limited.

With this acquisition in the UK, Total strengthens its position as a key player in electric mobility in Europe.

Marie-Joelle Lanista, Total’s M&A Legal Manager, in coordination with Norton Rose Fulbright’s Partner Arnaud Bélisaire, managed the legal aspects of the acquisition.
