Cara Dowling provides strategic support to the firm's global dispute resolution and international arbitration practices. Cara also has a particular focus on global climate change and sustainability risks

Before joining us, Cara spent 10 years working as a dispute resolution lawyer in the London office of a US law firm where she gained significant experience in international arbitration, commercial litigation and alternative dispute resolution (ADR). She has advised on a large number of multi-jurisdictional, high-value claims in the English High Court and Court of Appeal, as well as leading international arbitration institutions. Cara joined our team in London, UK, before transferring to the Vancouver office.

She is a member of the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA), International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), CPR Institute for Dispute Resolution (CPR), the CPR Institute's Digital Transformation Committee, and International Legal Technology Association (ILTA). Cara is also the editor of Norton Rose Fulbright's International Arbitration Report, International Arbitration video series and Global Climate Change Disputes guide.
