Tony has over a decade’s experience advising on corporate deals in China, and has represented both international and domestic companies in China. He focuses on M&A, foreign direct investments, joint ventures, corporate restructuring and regulatory compliance matters. His clients deal in a range of industries from life sciences, commodities, manufacturing to transportation and real estate.

His recent highlight deals include:

• advising a TSX-listed life sciences company on its joint venture for marketing and distribution of non-antibiotic feed additives in China
• advising a global investment group on disposal of its shares in a Chinese pharmaceuticals company
• advising a global commodities group on its joint ventures for the edible oil manufacturing and trading business in China
• advising a leading battery manufacturer on the China aspect of its global acquisition of the battery and portable lighting business from a global consumer products company.
