Biography
Madeline Heinke is a regulatory and litigation lawyer based in Ottawa. She has a broad regulatory practice, including matters such as international trade, anti-trust and competition including merger clearances, privacy, public procurement, tariffs and customs matters, sanctions, export controls, and anti-dumping.
Madeline has strong advocacy abilities. During her articles, Madeline assisted in a trial before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice alongside a partner at the firm. She advises clients in civil and commercial disputes, as well as administrative proceedings and judicial reviews of public decisions.
Madeline joined the Ottawa office as a summer student in 2023 and returned in 2024 to complete her articles. In her final semester of law school, Madeline completed a judicial clerk placement at the Nova Scotia Court of Appeal.
