Toronto and Ottawa advise Metrolinx and Infrastructure Ontario on the C$2.5bn Finch West LRT project

Our Toronto and Ottawa offices advised Metrolinx and Infrastructure Ontario on the C$2.5bn Finch West Light Rail Transit (LRT) project which reached financial close on May 7, 2018. Mosaic Transit Partners General Partnership (a consortium led by Aecon, ACS and CRH Canada) will be responsible to design, build, finance and maintain the project, which is targeted for completion in 2023. Once complete, the project will comprise of an 11-kilometre LRT system that will run along Finch Avenue in Toronto, Ontario. The project includes an underground terminal stop at the Humber College campus in northwest Toronto, 16 surface stops, an underground interchange station at Keele Street that connects with the new Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) Finch West Subway Station on the Toronto-York Spadina Subway Extension, and a vehicle maintenance and storage facility.
