Biography

John Boehm was a partner from 1993 until 2020, and resided and practiced law in the Middle East for 14 years starting in 2006.

John has more than three decades of experience advising US, GCC, European and Asian companies and government entities on corporate transactions and the conduct of their business operations in the Middle East. He has advised on a broad range of mergers and acquisitions, equity investments, debt and equity offerings, project financings, privatizations and restructurings in a wide variety of sectors, including energy, petrochemicals, power and water, manufacturing, technology, media, telecommunications and health care.

John is a former President of the American Business Council of Dubai and the Northern Emirates. He has also served as an Adjunct Professor of Middle Eastern Business Transactions at the University of Houston Law Center. John holds a J.D. with high honors from the University of Texas School of Law and a B.A. from the University of Virginia, and is a member of the State Bar of Texas.
