15 US lawyers named to inaugural Acritas Stars list

Fifteen Norton Rose Fulbright US lawyers were named to the inaugural Acritas Stars list, which serves as "a source of highly recommended lawyers, put together purely by the clients who pay for those lawyers, with no influence from law firms."

After 18 months of research, these individuals were selected from more than 5,000 nominees hailing from 1,400 different firms.

According to Acritas' analysis, the most frequently cited attributes of Stars include: legal expertise, responsiveness to clients, pragmatism in developing solutions and deep understanding of clients and their businesses. Another key finding of Acritas' research is that clients see value in lawyers other than partners; 8 percent of Stars are associates or of counsel.
