Norton Rose Fulbright advises Bilcare on sale of a part of its business

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has advised Bilcare on the sale of the Bilcare Research Group (Bilcare Research) to the American private equity firm Lindsay Goldberg. The transaction was completed on November 8, 2019.

Bilcare Research is a leading provider of plastic packaging used in the pharmaceutical, consumer goods and chip card manufacturing industries. With over 1,000 employees, the company generated sales of over US$330 million in the past financial year.

Lindsay Goldberg manages equity in excess of US$13 billion and is represented in Europe by Lindsay Goldberg Vogel GmbH, Dusseldorf Germany. The company supports high-growth medium-sized companies with expert advice and considerable financial resources, particularly in the implementation of an international growth strategy.

The cross-border and multidisciplinary Norton Rose Fulbright team was led by Frankfurt partner Marco Niehaus and included partners from across the firm’s Frankfurt, Hamburg, Milan, Munich and Singapore offices. A London team, led by Neha Khosla, was also involved. Neha has also advised Bilcare Research on its financing arrangements for some years.
