Meet the team

We have a strong track record in the Israeli market and have well-established Israeli desks in New York, Washington, DC, London and Ottawa. Our clients include leading Israeli and foreign corporations, financial institutions, foundations and trade associations, as well as partnerships, individuals and small businesses. Our lawyers have particular experience in advising Israeli companies on corporate, securities and financing transactions in the energy, technology, communications and infrastructure sectors worldwide, as well as in dispute resolution, litigation and international arbitrations.

Our involvement in Israel dates back to the early days of the State and expanded significantly in 1972 when we acted as US counsel to Elscint Ltd in the first public offering of an Israeli technology company in the US. Since then, we have represented a number of clients in public and private financings, acquisitions and venture capital transactions, as well as disputes including antitrust issues and restructurings.

Our New York team frequently represents Israeli and Israeli-related companies with shares traded in the US, as well as the issuers and underwriters involved in Israeli-related transactions. We have brought a number of major Israeli companies to the US public markets, including AudioCodes Ltd., Delek US Holdings, Inc., Nexus Telecommunications Systems Ltd., Orckit Communications Ltd, Ormat Technologies, Inc. and Paradigm Geophysical Ltd. In the UK, we advised QueenCo Leisure International on its IPO and admission to the London Stock Exchange, which also involved a 144A offering in the US.

Globally, we have helped structure and negotiate M&A transactions, debt transactions, joint ventures and licensing arrangements for Israeli companies, and have advised on the US, UK and Canadian implications of international corporate, merger and acquisition transactions. We also have been involved in a number of significant project financings in Israel and have a deep understanding of the specific circumstances of project finance transactions in Israel, including conducting and participating in Israeli public tenders. Among our most notable work, we advised on the financing of one of Israel’s major infrastructure projects, the Tel Aviv Metropolitan Mass Transit System Project and the Cross-Israel Highway, the largest privately financed infrastructure project in Israel.
