Paris team advises KKR and Etche on the acquisition of the Scott logistics portfolio from Ivanhoé Cambridge

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has advised KKR and Etche, KKR’s logistics real estate platform in France, on the tax law aspects of the acquisition of 5 buildings and over 160,000 square metres of logistic properties from Ivanhoé Cambridge.

The buildings are fully occupied by quality anchor tenants on long-term leases, with these assets being strategically located in prime logistics zones. The Etche platform currently owns and operates a portfolio of over 50 logistics and light industrial properties in France.

This latest acquisition builds on the regional expansion of KKR’s Core+ strategy.Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank (CACIB) provided funding for the operation through a structured financing arrangement in the form of a green loan.

The Paris-based Norton Rose Fulbright team was led by Partner and EMEA head of tax, Antoine Colonna d’Istria who was assisted by Associate Alexandra Bloch-Manikow. The team advised KKR on tax, corporate and regulatory matters.
