Jamie Nowak heads the German dispute resolution and litigation practice and is based in Munich. He focuses on contentious matters and proceedings, primarily in technology-driven industries.
Jamie has broad experience of national and international litigation, mediation and arbitration matters. He advises and represents clients across various industries, predominantly in corporate and general commercial disputes. Jamie regularly handles complex international product liability cases and assists in internal and governmental investigations and cross-border discovery proceedings, with aspects of data protection in particular. His non-contentious experience includes general commercial contract law and IT/IP matters.
According to the legal directory JUVE 2019/2020, Jamie is often recommended for "dispute resolution - commercial and liability: litigation". In the 2017/2018 edition, Jamie was described as having the "best contacts to the courts" and as being "internationally very strong" and "assertive and experienced". Jamie holds a law degree and a master's in International and European Commercial Law from Munich University (LL.M. Eur.). He is certified in the field of corporate and commercial law (Fachanwalt für Handels- und Gesellschaftsrecht), a member of the German American Lawyers Association, the German Institution of Arbitration (DIS) and the German Association of Law and Informatics (DGRI).
