In preparation for the implementation of the Federal Government’s mandatory internal dispute resolution data reporting framework, the Australian Securities and Investment Commission (ASIC) has recently released internal dispute resolution reporting documents, including a pilot version of the Data Dictionary and the Data Glossary.
These documents work in concert, with the Data Dictionary providing the information that financial firms will be required to collect and report to ASIC and the Data Glossary providing a comprehensive set of explanations for key terms contained within the Data Dictionary.
We urge you to plan ahead and take the time now to familiarise yourself with these documents and consider how they operate alongside your current reporting and compliance frameworks.
If you would like to know more about how the recent announcement and pilot documents may affect your organisations, please reach out.Publication
