This includes the 2024 UK Corporate Governance Code, as well as a number of narrative reporting developments, and an update on the implementation of the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act 2023.

April 9 | ESG and greenwashing in financial services | This webinar will focus on ESG and greenwashing. It will look at recent UK regulatory developments regarding sustainability, including the FCA’s Sustainability Disclosure Requirements and investment labels regime, at how regulators are dealing with greenwashing, including the approach taken in investigations and enforcement, and at how firms can take steps to reduce the risk of a greenwashing enquiry or claim.

April 11 | Data protection and AI: Compliance for Copilot | With Microsoft’s launch of Copilot last year, organisations are now able to access the power of large language models through their Microsoft applications.  This webinar will look at the compliance points for organisations rolling out “one of the most powerful productivity tools on the planet” to their workforce to consider. It will look at configuration choices, training and internal policies.

April 16 | Recent disputes cases | This webinar will provide an update on recent cases relevant to the work of in-house lawyers and company secretarial teams
April 18 | Insurance and developments in the Lloyd’s market | Following the introduction of syndicates-in-a-box in 2020, Lloyd’s has seen a number of smaller, entrepreneurial businesses enter the market. The  webinar will consider the key issues associated with syndicates-in-a-box and also look at other avenues to establish underwriting platforms at Lloyd’s (including special purpose arrangements and captive syndicates).
April 23 | The changing pensions landscape | This webinar will help in-house teams make sense of the changing pensions landscape and what it might mean for sponsoring employers. The discussion will include easier employer access to scheme surpluses, the arrival of the new funding regime, the implications of the ongoing Virgin Media case, as well as employers’ duties under forthcoming changes to the notifiable events regime.
