Paris team advises Egis on its acquisition of the Atrix group

Global law firm, Norton Rose Fulbright has advised Egis on its acquisition from Société Générale Capital Partenaires, Bpi france’s Fonds de développement des entreprises du nucléaire (a nuclear energy-focused fund) its founder and CEO Ronan Artur, of the Atrix Group, an independent French engineering group which operatesin the nuclear, defense, micro-electronics, food processing and healthcare sectors.

Egis, which was founded and is headquartered in France, is an international player in consulting, construction engineering and mobility services. Over its lifetime, Egis has evolved its services and diversified its fields of intervention. The business is now a key player in the collective organization of society and the living environment of citizens throughout the world.

Atrix is a consortiumof three companies: ATR Ingénierie, Faure QEI, and Blezat, which offer clients a range of specialist consulting services as well as project assignments. The group has developed technical expertise in the construction of health care facilities, and thus complements the range of services offered by Egis in this sector, including the specialized know-how and project lifecycle skills for clinics and other private health care establishments.

The acquisition contributes to the ongoing commitment Egis has to deliver the very best for clients and aligns with the company’s growth goals. Acquiring Atrix Group broadens and strengthens the skills and service offering Egis has in the high-tech industry and complex processes sectors.

Egis was advised by an in-house team led by Group General Counsel at Egis, Frédérique Berthier-Raymondand M&A Legal Counsel at Egis, Guillaume Dupont, on the legal aspects, as well as a multi-disciplinary team at Norton Rose Fulbright.

The team at Norton Rose Fulbright was led by Paris based corporate M&A partner, Karine Montagut, who was assisted by Counsel, Marie-Adélaïde de Fleurieu. They were further supported by a Paris based team which included public law partner Marion Roquette-Pfister, employment and labor law partner Laure Joncour, intellectual property law partner Nadège Martin and banking and finance law partner Alexandre Roth.

 

The Warsaw team was made up of corporate M&A partner Agnieszka Braciszewska and counsel Piotr Strawa. The London team was led by corporate insurance partner Matthew Foster.
