Biography
Emily Colville is a real estate lawyer based in London. She has experience in the commercial real estate sector acting for both landlords and tenants, working on the sale and purchase and development of commercial and residential property and on property finance transactions (both conventional and Islamic financings).
Emily has also worked on renewable energy and infrastructure projects and, during her training with us, spent time working in our office in Dubai.

- Bank ABC - on the development financing of luxury mixed-use residential and commercial development The Bryanston, Hyde Park, London.
- Barnard's Inn Trust (a Europa and Hobart Partners joint venture) - on the refurbishment and letting of Barnard's Inn in London's Midtown.
- Beckton Energy (formerly a joint venture with National Grid) - on the financing, construction and offtake arrangements for a 19MW combined heat and power (CHP) plant which will provide a significant new source of renewable energy for Thames Water.
- BNP Paribas, Credit Agricole CIB, Société Générale, Sumitomo Mitsubishi and The Royal Bank of Scotland - on the £400 million refinancing by Grosvenor of 1.8 million sq ft shopping centre Liverpool ONE.
- British Racing Drivers Club - on development projects at Silverstone, including a new Hilton Garden Inn Hotel and luxury trackside lodges.
- Canada Pension Plan Investment Board - on its leasehold interest in its central London headquarters.
- Centurion Corporation Limited - on its acquisition and subsequent financing of four student properties in England growing its student accommodation portfolio to over 3000 beds.
- Consortium of lenders – on the financing of Eni’s Liverpool Bay CCS project, a landmark transaction for the carbon capture and storage sector
- Cubico Sustainable Investments - on the acquisition of ten UK operational solar projects totalling 65MW and subsequently advising National Australia Bank on its portfolio financing of the solar projects.
- Glenmont Partners - on the £92m sale of 37.5MW of UK wind assets.
- Hastings Funds Management Limited - on the refinancing of a portfolio of operating solar PV ground mounted and rooftop assets with a combined capacity of 11.413 MW.
- National Westminster Bank - on various acquisition financings and development financings of real estate assets in London and the regions, including student accommodation, hospitality and logistics assets.
- Octopus Investments - on the acquisition and subsequent financing by bank Nord L/B of the 26MW Wryde Croft onshore wind farm from developer RES.
- Quinbrook Infrastructure Partners – on its investments on various battery storage projects.
- Standard Chartered Bank - on the financing of a residential, office and retail development in the City of London.
- The Toronto-Dominion Bank - on the lease of its London headquarters.
