Charlie is an associate based in our Melbourne office. Charlie advises clients on climate change law, including the ACCU Scheme, National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting (NGER) regime and Safeguard Mechanism, and international emissions trading schemes.

- Advising clients on reporting under NGER legislation, including determining reporting boundaries, conducting operational control assessments, and responding to Clean Energy Regulator audits.
- Advising clients on setting up carbon projects in Australia, New Zealand, Kenya and other jurisdictions, under various offset programmes, including advising on establishing an ACCU project at a Safeguard facility coal mine using a first-of-its-kind carbon abatement technology.
