March 12 | Employment: What to expect in 2024 | This webinar will look at the key legislative changes to employment law coming into effect in 2024 and what steps employers need to be taking to prepare for the new rights, including changes to holiday entitlement, flexible working, family friendly rights and the TUPE regulations, as well as new rights to carers leave, a right to request a more predictable working pattern and a duty to prevent sexual harassment.

March 14 | Tax and the Spring Budget | This webinar will look at recent and forthcoming tax developments in house legal teams need to be aware of, including those coming out of the 2024 Spring Budget.

March 19 | The Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Bill | This webinar will consider the key reforms set out in the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Bill currently going through Parliament. It will also provide an update on actions taken in the past year under the National Security and Investment Act 2021 and potential changes to that regime, and consider the implications for companies of the EU Foreign Subsidies Regulation.

March 21 | Corporate | This webinar will look at recent company law and corporate governance developments in house legal and company secretarial teams should be aware of. This includes the 2024 UK Corporate Governance Code, as well as a number of narrative reporting developments, and an update on the implementation of the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act 2023.

April 9 | ESG and greenwashing in financial services | This webinar will focus on ESG and greenwashing. It will look at recent UK regulatory developments regarding sustainability, including the FCA’s Sustainability Disclosure Requirements and investment labels regime, at how regulators are dealing with greenwashing, including the approach taken in investigations and enforcement, and at how firms can take steps to reduce the risk of a greenwashing enquiry or claim.

April 11 | Data protection and AI: Compliance for Copilot | With Microsoft’s launch of Copilot last year, organisations are now able to access the power of large language models through their Microsoft applications.  This webinar will look at the compliance points for organisations rolling out “one of the most powerful productivity tools on the planet” to their workforce to consider. It will look at configuration choices, training and internal policies.

April 16 | Recent disputes cases | This webinar will provide an update on recent cases relevant to the work of in-house lawyers and company secretarial teams
April 18 | Insurance and developments in the Lloyd’s market | Following the introduction of syndicates-in-a-box in 2020, Lloyd’s has seen a number of smaller, entrepreneurial businesses enter the market. The  webinar will consider the key issues associated with syndicates-in-a-box and also look at other avenues to establish underwriting platforms at Lloyd’s (including special purpose arrangements and captive syndicates).
April 23 | The changing pensions landscape | This webinar will help in-house teams make sense of the changing pensions landscape and what it might mean for sponsoring employers. The discussion will include easier employer access to scheme surpluses, the arrival of the new funding regime, the implications of the ongoing Virgin Media case, as well as employers’ duties under forthcoming changes to the notifiable events regime.
