- Lucy acts for airlines across the full spectrum of contentious issues arising under aviation contracts. Her work includes contentious aircraft leasing and finance issues, aircraft maintenance management, airport and groundhandling matters, competition and regulatory issues within the aviation industry.
- She has experience of a wide range of dispute forums, including the English high courts and domestic and international arbitrations under LCIA and ICC rules.
- Lucy has in-depth knowledge of ESG matters concerning the aviation industry, from SAF developments to greenwashing claims and the evolving regulatory framework

- Acting for airlines and lessors in English High Court proceedings including Saudi Arabian Airlines Corporation v International Airfinance Corporation and Another (ongoing operating lease dispute concerning maintenance matters and end of lease reconciliations), and Saudi Arabian Airlines Corporation v Sprite Aviation No.6 DAC (sums claimed for maintenance reserve contributions involving contractual interpretation of the operating lease)
- Acting for lessors in respect of repossession and recovery of aircraft involving sanctions, duress and termination of the leases
- Acting for airlines in respect of competition issues and abuse of dominance claims in the High Court
- Acting for a flag carrier airline in an ICC arbitration claim concerning alleged breaches of contract, claims for unjust enrichment and damages arising out of a joint venture agreement
- Continually advising airline clients on a large variety of regulatory issues including in relation to EU Regulation 261, Persons with Reduced Mobility, airport services agreements, catering services agreements, package travel regulations, reviewing and updating general terms and conditions of carriage, breach of contract and termination queries, baggage handling, passport validity, and disruptive passengers
