European Commission launches EU Sanctions Helpdesk

In its efforts to support small and medium enterprises (SMEs) comply with complex and dynamic restrictive measures imposed by the European Union, the European Commission has launched the EU Sanctions Helpdesk platform (the Helpdesk), providing compliance advice, sanctions updates and practical tools primarily for SMEs involved in international trade. The content covered in the Helpdesk platform includes (amongst other things):
- publications to help users understand the EU sanctions landscape, including guides, good practices, news updates and podcasts;
- a comprehensive list of resources to enable businesses to carry out sanctions due diligence; and
- events including training, conferences and seminars.
