US lawyer named to San Antonio Business Journal’s 40 Under 40

The San Antonio Business Journal recently honored Jeff Wurzburg (San Antonio) by naming him a 40 Under 40 professional in San Antonio. These awards celebrate young business and community leaders under the age of 40 who make a significant impact in their industries.

Wurzburg is one of the few lawyers chosen by the San Antonio Business Journal and one of the 40 individuals selected from over 300 nominations. Nominees are chosen based on several criteria, including peer reviews, independent evaluations and an independent review committee. Winners will be honored at a virtual ceremony on March 25.

Since graduating from Drake Law School in 2005, Wurzburg has established himself as a top regulatory and transactional healthcare lawyer, regularly advising clients on issues related to the Affordable Care Act, state Medicaid programs, the Medicare program and managed care. He regularly represents hospital systems, provider groups, and managed care companies in matters before state and federal government regulatory entities.

An incredibly active member of his community, Wurzburg has served on several boards and committees. He was recently was elected Fellow to the San Antonio Bar Foundation, serves as the Chair of the Advisory Committee for the Multi-Assistance Center at Morgan's Wonderland, serves in leadership positions for the American Bar Association Health Law Section and the American Health Law Association and sits on the Board of Directors for The Health Cell.

Wurzburg is a thought leader in the healthcare field, frequently writing and speaking on various healthcare-related topics.
