Biography

A versatile lawyer, Kim Bernard's practice focuses mainly on civil and commercial litigation, and covers all aspects of litigation, from providing legal advice and drafting proceedings, to representing clients before the courts. She is particularly interested in insurance law, professional liability and construction law.

In the field of insurance law, Kim’s services are frequently retained by insurance companies for insurance coverage matters and to act in defence of insureds and insurers.

She advises construction contractors on various procedures, particularly with the Régie du bâtiment du Québec and the Autorité des marchés publics, to enable them to carry out work in Quebec.

Holder of an M.B.A., she practises law in French and English.
