Biography

Sean is a corporate lawyer based in London. He is the global head of our FinTech practice and is head of our Technology and Innovation practice in EMEA.

Sean has experience of a broad range of international corporate matters including, public and private mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity buy-outs and venture capital and growth equity investments. He has considerable experience of advising purchasers of software businesses and of interacting with private equity sellers.

Sean also advises clients on the development and deployment of financial services technology and on investments, acquisitions and joint ventures in the FinTech sector. He is a widely recognised FinTech expert and is the co-chair of the US Chamber of Digital Commerce's Smart Contracts Alliance. Sean is frequently sought after to speak at conferences in the UK and the US and for commentary in the press.
