  • Metro in its acquisition by way of a combination agreement pursuant to which Metro acquires all of the outstanding Jean Coutu Group class A subordinate shares and Class B shares for $24.50 per share, representing a total consideration of approximately $4.5 billion
  • Industrial Alliance in its bought-deal public offering of 2,500,000 common shares for gross proceeds of $135 million and its concurrent bought-deal public offering of 6,000,000 non-cumulative 5-year rate reset class A preferred shares series I for gross proceeds of $150 million
  • Coveo Solutions in connection with the C$100 million equity investment by Elliott Management Corp.
  • La Mancha Group with the sale of assets to and 30% equity investment in Endeavour Mining Corporation, and also in connection with Endeavour's merger by way of plan of arrangement with True Gold
  • The special committee of the board of directors of Atrium in its $1.1 billion going‑private transaction
  • Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec in connection with numerous acquisitions and investments
  • TVA Group in its rights offering for aggregate gross proceeds of $110 million
  • Québecor Media in its purchase of a significant portion of Caisse de dépôt et placement's interest in Québecor Media for a total consideration of approximately $1.5 billion
  • Québecor Media, Videotron, Bombardier, Metro, Wajax, Pacific Rubiales, and other issuers in connection with numerous public debt offerings, including Metro in its related offering of C$1.2 billion aggregate principal amount of senior unsecured notes
  • Weather II Investments in its acquisition of all outstanding common shares of La Mancha Resources Inc. by means of a friendly takeover bid, for an overall price entirely in cash of approximately $502 million
