Biography
Tiffany O'Hearn Davies is a litigation and investigations lawyer whose practice centers on complex commercial and regulatory matters and internal investigations.
Tiffany is regularly called upon to litigate highly contentious matters and provide legal and strategic advice for clients in crisis situations. She has acted for businesses and individuals in a broad range of legal proceedings, including those arising from breaches of fiduciary duties, conflicts of interests, breach of contract, employment and human rights matters, and alleged corporate misconduct. Tiffany has appeared as counsel before various courts and tribunals, including the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Federal Court and Federal Court of Appeal, and the Canadian Human Rights Tribunal.
Tiffany has specific experience conducting sensitive internal investigations involving allegations of fraud, harassment, and workplace misconduct, including by investigating facts, conducting interviews and examinations, advising on legal and reputational risks, and engaging with regulatory authorities where necessary.
Before joining us, Tiffany was an associate at a leading boutique litigation firm where she had a broad civil litigation practice. She also clerked at the Court of Appeal for Ontario, where she worked closely with judges of the court on a broad range of civil and criminal appeals.

- Successfully represented defendant corporations in a motion to remove the plaintiff's lawyers as counsel of record on account of a conflict of interest
- Successfully represented a client in a human rights complaint before the Canadian Human Rights Tribunal
- Represented an institutional party in a coroner's inquest into a fatality on a construction site
- Successfully represented a client in having an application for judicial review removed from the court file on the basis that the applicant was a vexatious litigant
- Successfully represented a client in an application for judicial review of a Canadian Human Rights Commission decision and obtained an order directing the Commission to reconsider its decision regarding the timeliness of the complaint
- Successfully represented a client in a grievance arbitration regarding interpretation of a memorandum of settlement between the client and the union
