Biography
Sean Gillis is an associate in our business law group in Vancouver. He maintains a corporate and securities law practice, advising both public and private companies on a broad range of transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, public offerings and private financings, private equity transactions, and securities regulatory compliance.
Prior to joining us, Sean practised securities and corporate law at a leading international law firm in Vancouver.

Tiny Ltd.’s majority acquisition of Serato Audio Research Ltd., $20 million offering subscription receipts and $66 million concurrent private placement of convertible debentures
Cormark Securities Inc. and CIBC Capital Markets, and a syndicate of underwriters, including Canaccord Genuity Corp., in connection with a secondary bought deal public offering of common shares of Thinkific Labs Inc.
Blue Moon Metals Inc., in connection with its acquisition of the Nussir copper-gold-silver project in Norway and the NSG copper-zinc-gold-silver project in Norway through the acquisition of the Norwegian companies Nussir ASA and Nye Sulitjelma Gruver AS, and concurrent $30 million brokered private placement equity financing
Copper Standard Resources Inc.'s acquisition of Pucara Gold Ltd. by way of plan of arrangement
