Warsaw team advises Panattoni on construction of BTS facility for TEDi

Global Press release - Business November 2022

The Warsaw team has advised Panattoni as the developer on the construction of a new BTS (Built-to-Suit) facility in Stargard, to be developed for TEDi, a German retail chain with 2,750 stores in Europe.

The office space of the 87,300 square-meter BTS facility, will be BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method) certified.

The Warsaw team negotiated contracts based on which Panattoni developed the logistic hub in a BTS (built-to-suit) formula for TEDi as the tenant and advised on the sale of the completed facility to HH Immo, TEDi's affiliate.

Panattoni, one of the key clients of Norton Rose Fulbright in Poland, is an industrial property market leader in Europe and an industrial space developer whose goal is to support local business by providing multi-functional build-to-suit warehouse facilities.

TEDi, with about 2,750 stores and 24,500 employees in 11 countries around Europe, is one of the leading companies in the non-food sector. TEDi promotes itself as a family-friendly neighborhood supplier that is present not only in big cities but also in rural areas. Besides daily household, party, DIY and electrical goods, its range also includes stationery, toys as well as drugstore and cosmetic products.

The transaction was led by partner Magdalena Zienkiewicz, who was supported by senior associate Patrycja Pakla from Warsaw’s real estate and construction team.
