London | September 12, 2023Carbon capture and storage (CCS) is going to play an important role in decarbonisation and net zero ambitions and shipping has the opportunity to be integral to CCUS projects.
Interest in CCUS projects has been high over recent years, with rapid development of CCS technologies and significant governmental interest in this area.
Join Alistair Black as he is joined by a panel of experts to discuss:
- The UKs role as a regional hub
- Potential business models and how these interact with existing CCS regulatory architecture
- The role that shipping can play in CCS projects, including commercial, environmental, and chartering considerations.
Alistair, and the Norton Rose Fulbright presenters, will be joined by Paul Davies (Director, 7CO2; Severnside Carbon Capture and Shipping Hub) and Shreyas Chipalkatty (CEO, SeaVar).
