In a recent release, Topco Media announced the finalists for the 16th annual Standard Bank Top Women Awards. As a leader in gender empowerment, Michelle has been nominated in the Businesswomen of the Year category.
As one of South Africa's most prestigious gender-empowerment events, the Standard Bank Top Women Awards recognises those organisations and individuals whose efforts are uplifting women in business and society in general.
With a focus on providing opportunities for women in the workplace, Michelle has shown a consistent commitment to driving gender parity.
"Being shortlisted is a significant accomplishment on its own, and we're delighted to see one of our colleagues included in the list of finalists. We wish Michelle all the best – she definitely has the full support of the firm!" says Marelise van der Westhuizen, CEO of Norton Rose Fulbright.
The Standard Bank Top Women Awards ceremony will take place on August 15 in Johannesburg. Winners will be announced at a gala dinner on the evening attended by business and government leaders, VIPs and members of the media.
