Hlonela is an Associate in the commercial litigation department at Norton Rose Fulbright South Africa Inc.
He focuses on all areas of general corporate, commercial and regulatory disputes.
In addition to the above, Hlonela also acts for various corporates, banks and financial institutions in relation to general corporate and commercial as well as regulatory disputes.
Hlonela holds an LLB degree from the University of the Western Cape.

- Acting on behalf of bpSA in a dispute regarding the validity and/or invalidity of the site and retail licences of their Riverside filing station.
- Acting on behalf of Sibanye Gold Limited, Anglo Gold Ashanti Limited, Harmony Gold Limited, Gold Fields Limited in relation to dispute regarding rates and taxes charged by various municipalities in South Africa.
- Assisting Standard Bank of South Africa with instituting legal proceedings against its recalcitrant debtors to recover the monies due and payable to Standard Bank under the finance and related security documents. The recalcitrant debtors include NCA and non-NCA consumers.
