Nicola is a public interest lawyer based in Johannesburg.
Nicola's focus areas are environmental, administrative and child law. She has considerable experience in working on various pro bono and public interest litigation matters, including personal injury, within the context of police brutality, unlawful arrest and detention.
Nicola is also adept at dealing with instructions pertaining to evictions, maintenance, domestic violence and harassment.

- Represented a non-profit company in formulating a prosecution manual for combatting pangolin-related wildlife crime in South Africa.
- Represented a group of informal waste reclaimers in registering a trust entity with the aim of creating a circular waste economy in the Kruger to Canyons Biosphere Reserve.
- Represented a community trust established by one of South Africa's largest solar energy producers, by providing trust governance training and general advisory support.
- Represented a land claim community in Mpumalanga in terms of the Restitution of Land Rights Act 22 of 1994.
