We base our approach around five intersectional focus areas and have action plans to make progress across our goals.
Advancing and engaging women
To achieve an aspirational gender diversity target: a minimum of 40 percent women, a minimum of 40 percent men and 20 percent flexibility to be truly inclusive including those who are non-binary, men and women. The ratio forms the basis for a range of gender metrics, including:
Racial, ethnic and cultural diversity
To effect real and sustainable change in racial equity and improve ethnic and cultural diversity by increasing representation at all levels, ensuring inclusion and addressing and eliminating unconscious bias.
To create an inclusive environment for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex and queer (LGBTIQ+) people through the development and implementation of LGBTIQ+ inclusive policies and resources.
To remove barriers and challenges faced by people living with disabilities by supporting accessibility and workplace adjustments, and developing resources to help our people become confident and knowledgeable about working with and supporting people living with disabilities.
