Biography

Matthew Smith is a litigation lawyer with a broad and multi-disciplinary practice. Matthew provides legal advice and representation to a range of individuals, businesses and institutional clients in the insurance and construction industries. He has litigated mortgage fraud and mortgage enforcement actions, franchise disputes, contested estates, commercial landlord disputes, property damage disputes, construction disputes and professional negligence claims. Matthew has appeared before all levels of court in Ontario.

Prior to joining the Ottawa office, Matthew practised at a prominent civil litigation boutique as well as a regional full-service firm in Ottawa.
