Breakfast conference

Luxembourg City | April 19, 2023

In this conference we will focus on forthcoming changes to Artificial Intelligence (AI) regulation and its impact on the financial sector. In December, the Council of the European Union approved an amended version of the proposed Artificial Intelligence Regulation, which is expected to be adopted by the end of 2023 and come into force in 2026.

It is crucial for both EU and non-EU financial institutions to understand the scope of the amended AI Regulation and the obligations to be complied with. Businesses will have a short period of time to identify the AI systems already in place (prohibited, high risk, medium risk or general purpose), their role (as provider, user, importer, distributor or manufacturer) and understand the interactions between various regulations (DORA, GDPR and the coming AI Regulation).

Join us for a high-level presentation of the new AI Regulation followed by a roundtable discussion, which will include a Q&A session to share your current experience with AI (issues, outages, concerns etc).

Programme:

08:30 – 09:00 CET | Welcome coffee

09:00 – 10:00 CET | Presentation followed by roundtable discussion and Q&A

We look forward to seeing you.
