Cross-border team advises AIIM on JV with N+ONE DATACENTERS

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has advised African Infrastructure Investment Managers (AIIM), a leading African infrastructure private equity manager, on its joint venture with N+ONE DATACENTERS (N+ONE), a leading African data center owner and operator. 

AIIM and N+ONE are joining forces to develop a new Pan-African data center and cloud services platform with a short-term target capacity of 40 MW. 

N+ONE will contribute its existing market leading portfolio of digital infrastructure assets and extensive products in Morocco and AIIM will be contributing an initial USD 90 million of growth equity through its latest pan-African infrastructure fund, African Infrastructure Investment Fund 4 (AIIF4). 

The platform will focus on the development of hyperscale and wholesale carrier-neutral facilities to provide solutions to enterprise, government and hyperscale customers across the continent. 

London-based Corporate Partner Bayo Odubeko and Counsel Mark Maurice led the cross-border border team advising AIIM. They were supported by Corporate Associate Sarah Esprit (London) and Counsel Anne-Laure Bernard-Bouissieres (Casablanca / Paris).
