On August 9, 2022, the US Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and the American Staffing Association (ASA) signed an Ambassador agreement to recognize ASA's commitment to improving safety and health practices in the workplace. Founded in 1966, ASA represents the US staffing, recruiting and workforce solutions industry.
Through its Alliance Program, OSHA works with trade associations, labor unions, academia, community and faith-based groups and government agencies to address OSHA standards and compliance assistance resources. An OSHA Ambassador promotes the partnership between OSHA and Alliance participants through employer and worker communication and training.
