Mark Baker reappointed to Grievance Hearing Panel of US Soccer

Global Head of International Arbitration Mark Baker (Houston) has been reappointed to the Grievance Hearing Panel of US Soccer by the US Soccer Board of Directors.
The panel, which addresses grievances by athletes, coaches, trainers and organizations through arbitration or mediation, is made up of American Arbitration Association certified arbitrators or persons certified by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).
Baker is currently serving his fifth term as an arbitrator for CAS, and has experience serving as an arbitrator for a wide variety of Olympic and sports federations, as well as many additional distinguished arbitration panels.
As the governing body of soccer in all its forms in the United States, the US Soccer Federation has played an integral part in charting the course for the sport in the US for more than 100 years. The Federation's mission statement is to make soccer the preeminent sport in the US and to continue the development of soccer at all recreational and competitive levels.
