Neil Q. Miller, litigation partner in the energy practice at Norton Rose Fulbright LLP, and who sits on the working group committee for the Energy and Natural Resources Law Programme at QMUL, commented:
“Given our commitment as a global legal practice to all aspects of the energy industry, offering our skills and experience to work with and support the Energy and Natural Resources Law Programme at Queen Mary University of London was both ideal and jointly beneficial. We are delighted to be involved in a programme and initiative that provides students with invaluable skills which will enable them to build future careers in the energy law sector. QMUL has an excellent reputation and we are very pleased to be able to work with the law school at the University, in partnership with CCLS, to offer students this exciting opportunity.”
According to Norah Gallagher, Academic Director of the new Energy and Natural Resources Law Institute at CCLS “The partnership is a testament to the growing reputation of a new but popular programme with a practical focus. It underlines our commitment at CCLS to building important links with energy partners in the legal profession, industry and commerce.
“Norton Rose Fulbright is a truly global legal practice, with a stellar reputation and the offer of an internship, as well as the scholarship, represents an excellent opportunity for future scholars and practitioners of energy and natural resources law.”
