Christian ("Chris") Celeste Nisttahuz (Dallas) has recently been selected to join the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers (DAYL) leadership class, an elite group of young lawyers who want to make a difference in their community and the bar.

Founded in 1997, DAYL has hosted 25 leadership classes since its inception. Through an application process, approximately 40 young lawyers are selected for the program each year.

This membership highlights Nisttahuz's experience as a leading lawyer in the community, as well as her roles within the firm. Notably, she serves as the Dallas office Co-Chair for the Minority Lawyers Network and the Communications Chair for the LatinX Affinity Group.

Her practice spans various industries, with representative experience in the financial institutions, healthcare, construction and intellectual property sectors. She has worked on multiple commercial disputes involving allegations of breach of contract and fiduciary duties, fraud and violations of the Uniform Commercial Code and the Deceptive Trade Practices Act.

Her accomplishments include her successful defense of a financial institution at the summary-judgment stage against allegations of conversion, breach of contract and breach of fiduciary duties, among others.
