Recognition January 18, 2017

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has ranked in the top 3 of the Mergermarket 2016 Full Year Hong Kong M&A league table for legal advisors. The firm is ranked in second place by deal value, up from twelfth place in 2015.

In the Thomson Reuters Asia-wide (excluding Japan) league table, Norton Rose Fulbright is ranked in second place for Real Estate M&A with a market share of 5.5 percent.

Psyche Tai, a corporate partner in the Hong Kong office of Norton Rose Fulbright commented:

“Hong Kong has seen a positive growth trend in M&A activity throughout 2016, and we’re pleased to have taken a large share of the associated legal work. This is the result of our strong public M&A credentials and a focus on M&A over the past couple of years. It’s been a year for opportunistic buyers, and we expect the upwards growth in M&A activity to continue throughout 2017.”
