Biography

Katherine Prusinkiewicz is the knowledge lawyer for the Calgary office, working to leverage the practice's collective wisdom to ensure efficiency and uniform quality. She supports lawyers in our business law group with model documents and precedents, legal updates, training and other information needs and assists in our client communication program. As a result of our knowledge management initiatives and the practice’s culture of contributing and sharing knowledge, our clients can expect to benefit from the collective knowledge and experience of the whole practice.

Ms. Prusinkiewicz has extensive experience in corporate finance and securities regulation, private equity and mergers and acquisitions. Following her call to the Alberta Bar in 2006, Katherine practised in our capital markets group as an associate and then a partner. Her legal practice focused on corporate financings (including private placements and public equity offerings), mergers and acquisitions and corporate reorganizations of both private and public companies. She also assisted clients with corporate governance, regulatory compliance, business ethics and anti-corruption, continuous disclosure and general corporate matters.

Ms. Prusinkiewicz is fluent in Spanish and has worked with a number of clients in South America.

Prior to law school, she completed her bachelors’ degrees in commerce and arts, with majors in marketing and Spanish.
