Norton Rose Fulbright advises Neptune Maritime on US$95 million fleet expansion

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has advised ship financing platform Neptune Maritime Leasing (NML), in which Costamare Inc. and Latsco Family Office are lead investors, on the expansion of its portfolio via the sale-and-leaseback refinancing of seven platform supply vessels of Golden Energy Offshore Services (GEOS).
The deal is worth US$95 million and forms part of NML’s strategy to grow its financed fleet across international jurisdictions.
GEOS completed the sale-and-leaseback refinancing of the vessels Energy Duchess, Energy Empress, Energy Pace, Energy Passion, Energy Partner and Energy Paradise, with the financing of the seventh vessel expected to be completed in July 2025.
The Athens-based Norton Rose Fulbright team advising NML on this transaction was led by banking partner Evi Platsidaki, with support from senior associates Panagiotis Fokas and Alexi Remoundos.
