Our OSHA newsletter is a publication of the Norton Rose Fulbright US OSHA team. We provide information on recent developments concerning both the federal and various approved states’ occupational safety and health programs across the nation.
This issue addresses the vaccine mandate, Federal OSHA’s whistleblower program and Emergency Temporary Standard on COVID-19, measures to protect workers from heat-related illnesses, updated COVID-19 guidelines from the CDC and decisions issued recently by multiple state-run OSHA programs.

European Parliament votes to adopt Omnibus proposal amending CSRD and CS3D
On 13 November 2025, the European Parliament adopted (subject to certain amendments) the substantive Omnibus Directive which was proposed by the European Commission on 26 February 2025 (see our previous briefing here). On 16 December 2025, the European Parliament adopted further proposed amendments.
