Biography

Saori is a banking and finance, and corporate M&A lawyer based in Tokyo.

Saori first joined the Norton Rose Fulbright Tokyo office in 2016 as a paralegal and has since been supporting the team in advising clients in relation to many cross-border transactions primarily in the maritime and energy sectors.

Prior to joining Norton Rose Fulbright, Saori worked as a member of a legal affairs team in the e-commerce sector and as a paralegal/translator in a Japanese law firm specialising in providing services to IT and start-up businesses.

After completing her legal studies in the UK and her training contract with the Norton Rose Fulbright London office, Saori has re-joined the Tokyo office as associate.

She is a native Japanese speaker and has native English proficiency.
